Sponsor a Child in Nepal

Ke Garne is proud to introduce its Child Sponsorship Program, aimed at creating a better future for underprivileged children in Nepal. Sponsoring a child is a meaningful and rewarding way to change a life especially in Nepal, one of the poorest and least developed countries in the world.

In many rural areas of Nepal, families struggle daily. Education is often not a priority because they lack awareness and resources. Some families can barely afford food for three months of the year. Many have no income or live on such low wages that they can’t even buy basic items like kerosene, salt, or cooking oil. Tragically, some families lose loved ones due to the lack of medical care. Besides poverty, natural disasters such as floods, landslides, wildfires, and the recent COVID-19 pandemic have worsened living conditions. Families often lose everything. With no savings or social security, they cannot afford to send their children to school.

Even though the government promises free primary education, it only covers school fees. Parents still need to pay for uniforms, books, supplies, exam fees, meals, and more. Many government schools are poorly equipped with no desks, no drinking water, no playgrounds, and a shortage of qualified teachers. As a result, many children are forced to drop out of school.

Ke Garne created the Child Sponsorship Program to collect financial and material support for these children. This program directly benefits children and also empowers their families. Education isn't just about school it starts at home. Children spend more time at home than in class, so supporting the family is essential.
