Durga KC serves as the Director of Operations at Ke Garne Foundation, providing essential on-the-ground leadership and support for all initiatives across Nepal. His unwavering dedication to giving back to his home country and his ability to overcome challenges have been instrumental in the foundation’s growth and success.
Durga has been involved with Ke Garne Foundation since its inception, right after the devastating Nepal Earthquake in 2015. His passion for community development and grassroots engagement has made him a cornerstone of the organization. Before joining the foundation, Durga built a strong background in Nepal’s tourism industry. He worked as a trekking leader and went on to establish his own trekking company, as well as a hotel and restaurant. In the early 2010s, he led numerous trekking tours in the Himalayas, gaining deep insight into Nepal’s most remote and rugged regions. Originally from Bandipur in the Gandaki Province, Durga moved to Kathmandu for higher education. After graduating, he pursued a career in tourism and built a reputation as an Adventurer, Entrepreneur, and Philanthropist. His extensive travels across more than 14 countries in Southeast Asia and Europe have broadened his global perspective and further fueled his passion for meaningful social change in Nepal.
